Each year, the American Advertising Federation holds the American Advertising Awards (ADDYs), the advertising industry’s largest and most representative competition. This year, our local Toledo chapter’s event was held at the Valentine Theatre on Thursday, February 21, and we’re thrilled to announce that two of our client partners were among the celebrated winners!
Oneida, one of the world’s largest designers of tabletop products, won a Silver ADDY Award for Oneida Plate Envy, a 3D visualizer that allows chefs to view different combinations of products to design the perfect place setting for their ambience and cuisine. Hanson created this tool with 3D photography and artist models, using a gaming engine to render place settings in real-time.
Pfister Faucets, a manufacturer of bathroom and kitchen faucets and accessories, also won a Silver ADDY Award for their new website. We redesigned their website, along with packaging, product videos, and other point-of-sale materials, to express their down-to-earth, delightful personality with content and tools that make it easier to pick out a great faucet.
In addition, the Hanson team was excited to receive a Gold ADDY Award for the opening ceremonies video we created for last year’s ADDY Awards, as part of our partnership in providing all of the event creative.
Update: Our 2018 ADDY Intro Video went on to win a Silver ADDY Award in the AAF District 5 Competition!
