Celebrating Our 2020 WebAward-Winning Client Partners

Each year, the Web Marketing Association hosts the WebAwards, the longest-running annual website award competition dedicated to naming the best websites in 97 industries while setting the standard of excellence for all of website development. This year, Hanson is thrilled to announce that three of our client partners are among the 2020 WebAward winners!

Restorative Therapies, the leading provider of activity-based iFES therapy devices developed for the full continuum of care, won “Best Medical Equipment Website” for their redesigned website that positions them as not only a therapy device provider to their patients and caregivers, but as an advocate for life due to the premium level of service and care they provide. This award is the highest in the industry, exceeding the industry average in design, innovation, content, technology, interactivity, and ease of use. In addition to a new site, we also worked with Restorative Therapies to develop a new brand and outlined a cohesive marketing strategy to effectively carry their messages out to the varied audiences they serve.

O-I Glass, the world’s leading glass bottle manufacturer, won “Outstanding Website” for their redesigned website. While the new site supports a number of objectives, including talent acquisition, a key priority was to demonstrate how the unique packaging they create (picture a dark Starbucks Cold Brew bottle or the iconic shape of a Beech-Nut baby food jar) is truly a brand-building partnership with their customers. That message came through loud and clear to WebAward judges, who noted: “Popping the homepage with a ‘snack-sized’ story pulls a reader in immediately…”

Battelle, a nonprofit research organization headquartered in Columbus Ohio, won “Non-Profit Standard of Excellence” for their 90th Anniverasry Microsite that highlights their role contributing to scientific and cultural breakthroughs throughout history. As part of this experience, we partnered with the Battelle Marketing and Communications Teams to develop a dynamic timeline using Sitefinity in order to powerfully tell their stories across nine decades. One of the judges commented: “Nicely designed site with lots of interesting interactive items…such as the timeline.”

Please join us in congratulating our client partners and internal teams on achieving these outstanding distinctions!
